"Developing Excellence in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Education"
Educators & researchers in the areas of Vocational, Private and University Higher Education are invited to attend the 2009 Panel of Experts Forum that will take place at The Hotel School Sydney from the 12 – 13 October 2009, Sydney, Australia. The Forum will include a series of invited speakers and panelist’s that will focus on a number of critical issues facing tourism, hospitality and events education in relation to accreditation, benchmarking and best practice. Extensive networking opportunities will be provided throughout the Education exchange and is open to members and non-members of THE-ICE.
The conference theme “Developing Excellence in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Education” will address the needs, issues and value surrounding THE Accreditation, Benchmarking and the Development of Best Practice. Panel topics include:

3. Developing Teaching Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality
4. Valuing the Contribution of International Students and associated VFR to Tourism
5. Building Stronger Links between Education and Industry

The Forum will include a Cocktail Networking Function on the evening of the 12 October from 6:30pm.
