What are the course entry requirements to study at THE-ICE Australian member institutions?
These vary depending on the course requirements, and require students to meet minimum academic and English language proficiency levels as indicated in each program outline. Institutions will assess whether you meet the selection criteria set for your proposed course of study, including consideration of previous studies and work experience.

Can I get a scholarship to study tourism, hotels or events?
Yes. THE-ICE scholarships are available to students on the basis of excellent merit, which requires students to meet minimum GPA and IELTS levels and other criteria ( download the scholarship application forms for specific details).

How do I apply for a scholarship and get the application form?
Fill in the Start Here box, then go to the scholarships page and download the application form for Masters, Bachelor or Diploma to see if you can meet the selection criteria. Then review the different study programs listed and make your program selection. Collect the information required for the application and use the 'Checklist Box' in the application form to ensure you have supplied the required information. Allow yourself enough time to obtain the required information and send the application by postal mail.

What costs will the scholarship cover?
These vary by the type of scholarship on offer.
The current offer is for one year of study at the nominated member institution. This scholarship grant assists to cover the cost of living while studying and or/ tuition fees, international student health cover, student fees, accommodation or text books. The scholarship grant is administered by the nominated member institution and an agreement will be made by the member institution offering the scholarship as to the most appropriate way the scholarship monies will be administered to assist the student. The scholarship money does not include any air fares and it is the scholar's responsibility to finance additional expenses and living costs. Tuition Fees will vary depending on the course and institution selected.

Are the scholarships open to all international applicants?
Yes, THE-ICE scholarships are not restricted to applicants from particular countries and all applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered.

Do I need to enroll with the education provider before submitting my scholarship application?
No, you are not required to enroll directly with the institution before submitting your scholarship application. Applicants who are short-listed for a scholarship will be advised via email, and upon acceptance of the scholarship, can proceed with the normal enrolment and visa application procedures.
