Industry Training
The Industry Training component is an equally important part of the curriculum, allowing students to gain both the theoretical and practical skills and knowledge needed for these ever-growing international industries. The program is well structured; supervised and forms part of the course. For approximately nine months during the second year of study, students are placed in recognised organisations (such as
Shangri-La Sydney, Starwood Sydney Hotels, Four Seasons Sydney etc.) for paid employment to accrue the 1,200 hours of industry training required for Diploma or Degree qualifications.

Students are paid at Australian award wage rates, typically earning between AU $20,000 - $30,000 during this period. Experience gained during the industry placement program in Australia is highly valued by the international students as they find it a great asset to successful employment upon graduation.
